Common Questions
FAQ
- What is the minimum order quantity for event wristbands?
- 100 pcs for woven fabric and silicone, 500 pcs for printed Tyvek, and 100 pcs for NFC-encoded bands of any material. Multi-tier events (VIP/general/crew) count each colourway as its own MOQ.
- How long do NFC wristbands take to produce?
- Unencoded fabric or silicone bands ship in 5–7 working days; encoded NFC runs take 7–10 days because chip embedding, writing and read-verification happen after weaving. Urgent event runs can be turned in 72 hours above 5,000 pcs.
- What do you need from me to encode the chips?
- The destination URL (or your ticketing platform name), plus a serial plan if you want UID-linked tickets. We write a URL record, enable the mirror page, and return a test report of 20 random bands read on both iOS and Android.
- Which wristband actually stops ticket sharing — Tyvek, fabric or NFC?
- NFC with a unique UID and a one-time activation flag is the only option that fails safely when shared, because the second tap is rejected by your system regardless of what the band looks like. Between the passive options, adhesive Tyvek is the strongest physical control — it destroys itself on removal — while a slide-lock fabric band can be re-tied with a knot unless you specify a crimped or stitched closure. A common build is Tyvek or cut-to-fail fabric with a printed QR for the fast lane plus an UV DTF sticker-branded VIP band.
- Do NFC wristbands work on every phone, and do they need power?
- The tag is passive — no battery, no app. Any phone 5 years newer than an iPhone 7 or a common Android reads the URL by tapping, and iPhones without background NFC still open it through the Camera app. Weakest link is metal: bands worn against a buckle or read through a steel turnstile panel lose half their read range, so keep the chip pocket 30 mm clear of hardware.
