- What is the minimum order quantity for acrylic charms?
- 50 pcs per design, including custom shapes, double-layer printing and hardware. Standees with a slot base are 50 pcs as well, and mixed designs can be combined to reach a single 100-pc order.
- What is the production lead time?
- Digital proof same day, physical sample 2–3 days, bulk 5–7 working days. Glow, glitter-insert or glitter-drop versions add 2 days, and air shipping is 3–5 days for convention deadlines.
- Can you print white ink and translucent areas on clear acrylic?
- Yes — white is printed as a full or spot underprint so clear regions stay transparent, and gradients can be halftoned into the white layer. For a see-through window, supply the transparency mask as a separate spot layer rather than relying on reduced opacity.
- Cast or extruded acrylic — which should I specify?
- Cast PMMA for anything engraved, drilled, or thicker than 2 mm: it polishes to full clarity, resists stress-cracking at holes, and holds detail. Extruded acrylic is cheaper and thinner-tolerance for flat 1.5 mm charms, but yellows near UV over years, crazes if a customer cleans it with alcohol, and melts rather than vaporises so edges stay slightly tacky.
- Do UV-printed acrylic charms scratch or fade outdoors?
- Single-sided UV print scratches within weeks and fades in 6–9 months of sun. The double-layer mirrored build we standardise seals ink between two PMMA sheets, so there is nothing to abrade, and adding a UV-stable ink set plus anti-scratch film keeps colour for 18–24 months outdoors. Any charm left in a car dashboard above 70 °C can still craze at the cut edge, so specify 2 mm cast for outdoor signage-grade use.
