Common Questions
FAQ
- What is the minimum order quantity for custom woven labels?
- 100 pcs per design per size. Most brands order 500–1,000 pcs, because unit cost drops sharply above 500. Running two sizes (e.g. 20×30 mm and 25×40 mm) counts as two separate MOQs.
- How long does sampling and bulk production take?
- Digital proof returns within 24 hours of artwork approval, a woven physical sample in 3–5 working days, and bulk production ships in 5–8 working days. Air freight adds 3–5 days, sea freight 12–18 days.
- What artwork file format do you need?
- Vector AI, PDF or EPS with all text converted to outlines, artwork at 1:1 mm scale, colours as separate spot layers. If you only have a PNG, we redraw the logo for weaving at no charge above 1,000 pcs.
- What is the difference between Damask, Satin and Taffeta woven labels?
- Damask (50D yarn, highest weft density) reproduces four-colour gradients and fine serif detail, and costs the most. Satin has a glossy floated face — richer blacks and a premium hand feel, but detail softens under 1.5 mm. Taffeta (70D) is the economy weave: crisp edges on flat spot colours, with a practical minimum line width around 0.6 mm.
- Will ultrasonic-cut woven edges irritate sensitive skin?
- No — ultrasonic cutting fuses the weft instead of leaving a raw selvedge, so the edge will not fray or scratch, and OEKO-TEX® Class I yarn is certified for infant wear. For direct skin contact specify a center-fold satin with soft-cut edges; if your customer dislikes any label at all, move the branding to tagless DTF Heat Transfers.
